Vienna, Monday 27th
Dear Annerl!
I’d like nothing more than to drive out to meet you – but you’d need to write in good time to tell me exactly where and when. Couldn’t you use one of the envelopes I sent you? I’ve no other reason to go to Vienna, so I’d be better off staying here and working in the Brühl while I wait for your note.
Hopefully it’ll work out, with the rendezvous! I can hardly wait!
Yesterday I saw the Ephrussi family – but I don’t think anything will come of it.
I’ve played so much tennis that I now have four healthy blisters on my hand.
