Date

Description
This telegram was sent a month before the arrest of Pavel Lipchitz (28 April 1936, according to his daughter). It is handwritten, and it says (in translation): 'Moscow, seen sculpture - exciting - congratulations great success - kisses - Pavlucha [=Pavel]'. 'Sculpture' here is the bust of F.Dzerzhinsky originally planned to be exhibited on the 'Industry of socializm' (1939).
